Poly Net House / Close-Roof Polyhouse
Poly Net House Solutions by AgroDome
Poly Net Houses, also known as close-roof polyhouses with side ventilation, are cost-effective protected cultivation structures designed to provide rain protection, controlled sunlight, and pest management in moderately hot and cool climatic regions.
AgroDome’s Poly Net House structures are engineered with a polyfilm top covering, a movable internal shade net layer, and side ventilation using insect or shade nets, offering flexibility, affordability, and reliable crop protection for a wide range of crops.
Product Overview
The Poly Net House features a dual-layer roof system, where the top layer is made of UV-stabilized polyfilm and the second internal layer consists of a movable shade net that can be opened or closed based on sunlight intensity and crop requirements.
Side walls are covered with insect nets or shade nets, ensuring proper ventilation while protecting crops from pests and harsh environmental conditions. An apron system of 1-meter depth is provided at the bottom to prevent pest entry and improve structural stability.
This structure is widely used as a low-cost alternative to polyhouses, making it ideal for farmers looking for protected cultivation solutions with reduced capital investment.
Structure Design & Construction
The Low Cost Shade Net House is constructed using hot dip galvanized GI pipes or structural components that provide strength and resistance to corrosion. The structure can be designed in various roof patterns such as flat roof, dome roof, or nursery-type structures, depending on crop requirements and site conditions.
Shade nets are securely fixed using high-quality fastening systems to ensure stability even in windy conditions. Side coverings may include insect nets for enhanced pest protection. An optional apron system can be provided at the bottom to prevent insect and pest entry and improve hygiene inside the structure.
